The architecture of the brasserie at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne is characterised by a clear spatial composition and a harmonious balance between openness and intimacy. A variety of seating areas, precisely designed built-in features and a carefully coordinated palette of materials give structure to the space and create a diverse range of ambiances. The result is a modern dining experience that combines function, atmosphere and architectural precision to form a cohesive whole.
The open-plan café bar combines gastronomy and architecture to create a harmonious overall experience. Precisely crafted fitted elements, natural materials and carefully coordinated lighting lend the space a warm atmosphere. The clean design encourages intuitive use and makes the café bar a central hub within the Swiss Museum of Transport.
Every detail has been designed with durability and comfort in mind. The striking leather armchairs, with their precise stitching, lend the room a distinctive character and create high-quality seating areas for short breaks or longer stays.
Unobstructed sightlines, clearly defined seating areas and a balanced mix of materials create a dining space that is a pleasure to spend time in. The wooden ceiling structures the space, whilst the vertical cables create a subtle division without compromising the sense of spaciousness.
