STUDIOFORMA designed the LIGHT RAY CONCEPT to upgrade Wayray’s existing industrial building. A sequence of linearly arranged pendant luminaires creates a light path. The illuminated column, which acts as a beam of light, connects the factory from the first floor with the representation and design rooms above. We developed the mezzanine floor according to a modular system by alternating high-tech containers on two floors, which offer space for multiple uses and can be configured as required. The building complex offers 70 office workstations, 9 meeting rooms, 11 telephone booths, a main switchboard, a car showroom, a reception area, several lounge areas and various archive rooms. The high-tech 3D reception desk projects holographic texts against the bay windows. WayRay is a technology company that develops holographic AR technologies for connected cars.
